I am fully aware that my post is rather delayed but turns out we lost our Internet connection sometime last week and I didn't realize it until Friday night... Hum I know what you are thinking. How do you not notice you don't have Internet? Especially when so much in our house is connected to the modem... the answer truly is I have no idea! So pardon my delay in post but I will promise to get all caught up in the next few days.
Last week I took off more time from work to spend with our sweet granddaughter. Her and and her Mima had another fun Girl's Day at the park. After running several errands we found our way to the Harbison Pond. For those of you who don't know, this is also where Ray and I lived a while back. If it wasn't for the not so friendly ghosts in our condo we may have convinced the old fart who owned it to sell it to us, but that's another story for another day!
Tylee and I walked around the pond and saw all the ducks, geese and some unexpected turtles basking in the unseasonal 77 degree sunshine!
I can't get over how grown up she looks in this picture. She waived and said "Hey" to all the grown ups we passed and hugged all the children we passed with a friendly introduction of "I'm Tylee Lanpher".
I must say I was impressed with Tylee, she walked ran most of the full three quarters of a mile around the pond and still had plenty of energy to play at the playground. It was kind of a little treasure at the end of the rainbow of our trip to the park!
Papa wasn't able to join us at the park but we were pretty excited to see him for lunch!
